Amanda Bicking is an Intuitive Stylist, Body Acceptance advocate and the founder of Mend
Mother to two under 6, she started Mend as a way to combine her passion of serving other women to see the beauty in themselves and reach her dream of living a conscious life with her children. Through Intuitive Styling, Amanda helps people fall in love with themselves and redefine their perception of who they are and how they can show up in this world. With over 15 years of professional experience in both fashion and consumer research industries, Amanda has worked closely with people all over the world in identifying their needs to achieve an authentic life well-lived. She is a firm believer that anyone can feel confident in their style and their bodies and that style is for everyone - no matter what your appearance, time commitment, or budget looks like.
Style is an overlooked tool in healing and self-embodiment.
Through Style, Mend's purpose is to create community in self-expression, in the exploration of what it means to be in relationship with our bodies, and to create experiences of self love through adornment in communion with each other. Whether in 1:1 styling or group shared experiences, Mend aims to reignite your relationship to self expression, to hold space, and help you discover the beauty of who you really are.
"Amanda is a GIFT to this world. She so lovingly reflects the essence of YOU through style, expression, color, and energy in a way that I felt deeply seen and left with a greater appreciation of this beautiful vessel (my body) I'm traveling around in."
— Beth P.
"You are a dream to work with, a brilliant source of expression wisdom. I wish everyone could experience your services."
— Victoria M.

A Note on Healing & Transformation
Disclaimer:
Through my work, I offer support for your own self-discovery of your unique self-expression. I will ask you questions, invite you to reflect, and to share. And from this, you will receive tangible guidance, suggestions, materials, and suggested reflections, however, you hold the keys to your success. There is no amount of magic or shortcuts to instantly transform you into a new person. Be cautious of people that promise you just that.
Things will take time. You will most likely have triggers now and in the future. That is okay. That is being human and to experience, learn, and grow. I am also not a medical provider. My advice and experience is not meant to replace any medical, mental or serious emotional needs - please consider seeking this advice if you feel that is what you need.
You are not meant to scrap the core of who you are. You are meant to amplify the good that is in you. My promise to you is that I will be there by your side, every step of the journey to witness you and celebrate who you are.
